Terms and Conditions

Down2Shine Detailing LLC is a distinguished mobile detailing service provider committed to delivering premium automotive care in the State of California. These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of our services and serve to ensure transparency, integrity, and client satisfaction.

1. Scope of Services

Our services include, but are not limited to:
• Deep interior cleaning
• Shampoo extraction
• Paint correction
• Waxing and polishing
• Restoration treatments
• Steam sanitation services

Down2Shine Detailing LLC reserves the right to decline any service that presents a risk to the integrity of your vehicle or is deemed potentially damaging.

2. Service Area and Site Preparedness

Clients are required to ensure that the vehicle is located in a legally permissible and safe area for service. All personal items, valuables, or sensitive materials must be removed prior to the detailing appointment.

If a child safety seat is present, it will be removed for the purpose of cleaning, but it is the client’s sole responsibility to reinstall the seat. Down2Shine Detailing LLC assumes no liability for subsequent use.

We are not responsible for loss or damage to the vehicle or any contents therein during service. All vehicles must be capable of withstanding standard professional cleaning processes.

3. Payment Terms

To confirm an appointment, a non-refundable deposit of thirty-five percent (35%) of the total estimated service fee is required. This deposit shall be applied toward the total amount due. Clients may also elect to pay for the full amount in advance.

• All payments shall be processed via Square's secure system.
• Full payment is due immediately upon completion of services, or prior to the appointment if paid in full.
• Down2Shine Detailing LLC reserves the right to refuse service if payment obligations are unmet.

4. Cancellations, No-Shows, and Premature Departures

Cancellations made without a minimum of 8 hours’ notice shall result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Should a client elect to depart the service location prior to the completion of detailing, full payment is still required at the time of departure. If only the deposit has been rendered, the balance must be paid immediately; otherwise, service will cease and the deposit will not be refunded.

5. Paint Correction Limitations

Automotive paint is subject to deterioration due to environmental exposure and prior care. While our paint correction services are designed to enhance appearance, complete defect removal may not be feasible in all cases.

• Severe etching, oxidation, or existing bodywork may limit results.
• Down2Shine Detailing LLC does not provide repainting or auto body services.
• Clients are expected to disclose any prior repairs or paint work prior to service commencement.

6. Service Guarantee

In the rare event that workmanship fails to meet professional standards, and if credible evidence of deficiencies is presented within 4 hours post-service, Down2Shine Detailing LLC may issue a credit toward a future service appointment at its sole discretion.

The guarantee will be void if:
• The vehicle is subsequently cleaned or altered by the client or a third party without written consent.
• The client fails to disclose severe stains, odors, hazardous materials, or health-related contaminants at the time of booking.
• The client refuses recommended services necessary to address disclosed or observed issues.

7. Sticker and Decal Sales & Warranty

All sales of vinyl stickers, decals, or related custom graphics are final and non-refundable. Due to the bespoke nature of these products and the preparation involved, no returns, exchanges, or cancellations shall be permitted once an order has been confirmed and processed.

Each sticker and decal product includes a one (1) year limited weather warranty. This warranty solely covers damage or destruction resulting from exposure to natural weather conditions, including but not limited to rain, sunlight, or wind. In the event of qualifying weather-related damage, Down2Shine Detailing LLC will provide one (1) replacement of the same design and size as originally purchased, free of charge.

To initiate a warranty claim, clients must submit:
• Photographic evidence of the damage
• Proof of original purchase
• A written request within the one-year period from the date of receipt

Warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper application, washing methods, contact with chemicals, third-party removal, or deliberate tampering.

8. Professional Conduct

We hold all clients and employees to a standard of mutual respect. Down2Shine Detailing LLC maintains a zero-tolerance policy for verbal abuse, harassment, or aggression. Any such behavior will result in immediate service termination and may lead to further action.

9. Indemnity and Waiver of Liability

By proceeding with services, the client agrees to hold Down2Shine Detailing LLC harmless from any claims, damages, or losses—except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of vehicle contents, incidental damage, or injury sustained during or after service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
